Your data privacy at Plume
It is a leap of faith to entrust a business with your personal information. As you welcome Plume into your home, your trust is invaluable. Below you’ll find notes on data privacy and our complete Privacy Policy as it affects HomePass users.
Access my personal information
Members can request access to or deletion of personal information.
Cancel my membership
Though we’re sad to see you go, you can cancel your membership at any time.
You have control of your visibility
As a HomePass member, you have the option to enable Privacy Mode at any time in the app. When this mode is turned on, personal device network activity is no longer shared with Plume. GUARD and CONTROL features will not work as intended when this mode is enabled because they rely on network level meta-data, but this decision is entirely up to your discretion.
Why collect this data at all?
Our technology analyzes data with the sole purpose of improving your experience and protecting you online. Plume does not have access to sites you have visited, sites that were blocked, or applications that you are running. It only shows the specific sites blocked on your network to you, the user.
For support of the system operation, Plume employees can access other networking data and configuration settings on a need-to-know basis like a customer support call. It’s subject to strict access controls, and you will always be asked for consent first.
Our commitment
We have long made a promise to protect the privacy of our users and take steps to comply with new laws and regulations that enhance privacy as they come into effect. View Plume's Privacy Policy for details on how we protect and secure your data.
